| Poundsbury Village
With the involvement of HRH, the Prince of Wales, the new village of Poundsbury near Dorchester has received many accolades especially the most recent Fleur-de-Lis building. This unusual roofscape was designed and manufactured from trussed rafters and other associated timbers by a TRA Member working closely with the scheme architect. |

| Golf Club Challenge
Timber trussed rafters were chosen to meet a number of design challenges on this Golf Club Hotel in East Sussex. Their versatility together with their ability to create a curved profile enabled them to be used to create a conical structure which emulates the oasthouses of the surrounding area. The trusses were manufactured by a TRA member who was also able to offer detailed design advice and support. |

| Trusses Chosen Even for Thatched Roof
Room in the Roof trussed rafters were supplied for a combination roof of thatch and clay tile, in Northamptonshire. Room in the Roof trusses were specified in order to make the most of the available space. |

| Low Impact Roofline for Oxford Halls of Residence
Trussed rafters were used in the design of this major new Halls of Residence at Oxford Brookes University. The entire roof structure was designed to meet the need for a low impact roofline. |

| Trusses Over Rural Development
The sensitive redevelopment of a former agricultural property into two stylish dwellings involved the supply of raised-tie trussed rafters from a TRA Member company. The design also required the fabrication of an elaborate 'loggia' to form the main entrance feature to the old farmhouse. |

| Butterfly Roofs for Apartments
Six blocks of apartments in Wolverhampton had their complex, stepped roofscapes constructed with a variety of timber trussed rafters and beams. Over a period of a year the TRA member supplied close to 2,000 separate timber trussed rafters for the construction of 'butterfly' roofs. |

A TRA Member supplied complex segmental timber trussed rafters for a cutting edge community housing project in Surrey. The Member supplied varying profiles to construct the unusually complex roofscape which features a double-curved profile. |

| Curved Roof Over School Roof
The Discovery School is situated within a large Kent residential and business park. The school has an unusual curved and stepped roof constructed with timber trussed rafters. As well as having a striking external appearance the interior features sloping and stepped ceilings achieved with 240 monopitched trussed rafters with spans of up to 13m. |

| Trussed Rafters in Harmony with Steel Building
Here trussed rafters with a 16m span are used to span clear over a steel framed building for a factory unit in Derby. Interesting that the building designer chose trusses as the cost effective roof solution on a steel framed building. |
