Kick off 2022 with the TRA’s Introduction to Recruitment, Training and Skills seminar

An online event is being organised for members wanting to launch their 2022 recruitment and training programmes.

The event will be held on Tuesday January 18th from 10.30am-12.00pm and plans include a talk by Christian Warden from recruitment organisation Talentview Construction. The event will also remind members about the TRA’s Careers in Timber Engineering Campaign and launch the new Designer Development Programme.

All members are encouraged to attend to find out how they can boost their recruitment and attract new people to the industry. The event is designed to help members learn how they can form relationships with local colleges who run construction courses and in turn help them connect with apprentices and trainees.

TRA chief executive Nick Boulton says this is a great opportunity for all member companies to learn about developing existing staff and engaging with local new talent. He said: “With increasing difficulties in attracting people across all sectors, the event aims to help address the skills shortages in our part of the industry and give members information on how they can forge links with local education providers.”
