As an alternative to traditional masonry gable ends and separating walls within the roof space, TRA members increasingly offer a roof structure design that incorporates prefabricated spandrel panels.
Delivered as part of the trussed rafter package, spandrel panels are pre-assembled structural panels used as a separating wall or as an external gable roof panel.
Manufactured to the same roof profile as the trussed rafters, they are designed to meet the customer’s specific project needs and so can offer great flexibility in terms of performance as a sound and fire barrier.
