Final call for entries for the Roofscape Awards 2026
8th January 2026
There’s just less than a week left to enter this year’s Roofscape Design Awards: the deadline is Wednesday 14th January. But it doesn’t take long to send us your entry, whether it’s for a project or a colleague.
Individual categories
Did you know that the Roofscape Design Awards aren’t just for buildings? You can also nominate a colleague for one of the individual awards. What’s more, they could win a cash prize.
These are the three award categories that celebrate individual achievements within the sector:
- Innovation Champion of the Year – recognising leadership in sustainability, technology, or operational improvement
- Safety Champion of the Year – celebrating exceptional commitment to safe working practices
- Career Development Champion of the Year – acknowledging dedication to learning, growth, and professional excellence
A prize of £250 will be awarded to the winner of each category.
To be in with a chance, entries should explain why the nominee is a deserving winner. What makes them special? If they are an innovator, how have they demonstrated or brought in innovation? Or if your colleague is a ‘career development champion’, what particular aspects of their work or attitude best sum this up?
Project categories
When it comes to trussed rafter projects, the categories for Roofscape are: residential, conversion and refurbishment; and commercial. If you’ve been involved in a great building this year that uses trussed rafters, metal web beams or a combination of both, you really should enter this year’s competition.
And remember – great photographs and images go a long way in demonstrating the strength of an entry. Help the judges make the right decision by sending us your best images. For more information about the awards and how to submit the best entry, read our short guide.
We encourage all TRA members to enter:
