Member News: New Commercial and Operations Director at NTS

National Timber Systems (NTS), the engineered wood products division of National Timber Group, has appointed Richard Jarvis to the newly created role of NTS Commercial and Operations Director.

Richard joined the division in 2019 as operations director with 30 years’ of experience in the timber industry across manufacturing, sales, design and management.

During his time at NTS, Richard has led several critical projects including the complete relocation of the Bristol site, and the significant investment and development of NTS’ manufacturing operations and facilities across all four sites.

Richard Jarvis, NTS commercial and operations director said:

“I am especially proud to be taking on this new role as it’s an exciting time to be a specialist in the industry.

“We’re working with housebuilders and contractors nationally who understand the benefits of off-site manufactured engineered timber products, such as roof and floor cassettes, which are contributing to shorter build times with less time spent working at height.”
