New dates announced for NMITE’s TimberTED courses

A new series of dates have been announced for the New Model Institute For Technology & Engineering (NMITE)’s Timber Engineering Design (Timber TED) course.

TimberTED is a set of courses developed and run by NMITE in partnership with Timber Development UK and Edinburgh Napier University.

The course is endorsed by the CIOB (Chartered Institute of Building) and CIAT (Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists).

Students will:

• Develop skills to utilise timber in their built environment designs, understanding criteria such as material properties and sustainability concerns.
• Enjoy a combination of online and hybrid learning models, combining remote and residential in-person learning.
• Benefit from industry thinking and guided by academic and industry experts.
• Have a chance to work on real workplace challenges.

The newly released dates are:

• 6 May – Timber Materials
• 10 June – Timber Design 1
