The TRA AGM, Conference and Dinner has an exciting new format in 2023, and is open to all TRA members and other businesses involved in timber engineering. It is free to attend, with a small charge for the dinner which this year also includes a presentation of the inaugural Roofscape Design Awards.
The focus of the conference this year is strongly on providing practical business advice, covering topics such as:
Cutting costs or maintaining investment? – How to get the balance right
- Creating growth in a recession
- Energy efficiency and tips for reducing fuel costs
- How best to measure and monitor carbon emissions
- Support for recruitment and training, including how to work with your local college
- Using social media to support sales and recruitment
A series of four workshops will run throughout the day. Attend all four and you can enter a prize draw!
In addition to these expert workshops, delegates will get an update on all the major regulatory and technical issues affecting the sector and the support available from the TRA, and members can vote on key decisions at the AGM.
