Roofscape Design Awards 2024 shortlist announced

The shortlisted entries for the 2024 Roofscape Design Awards have been announced.
From over 30 projects entered, this shortlist of eight entries celebrates the ingenuity and technical skills of designers in the roofing sector by recognising projects that showcase the highest standard in design, innovation, and sustainability in the use of timber trussed rafter roofs.
Judges saw projects such as a museum, a new house attic roof build, and several care homes were included in the shortlisted projects. The awards are split into three categories:
- Residential Project of the Year
- Conversion and Refurbishment Project of the Year
- Commercial Project of the Year
Shortlisted projects for the Roofscape Design Awards are:
Residential Project of the Year
- Plot next to Pinocchio’s Nursery
- Sianwood
- The Copper House
- The Fieldings
Conversion and Refurbishment Project of the Year
- The Black Country Living Museum
- The Walk
Commercial Project of the Year
- Welton Extra Care Apartments and Bungalows

Winners for the Roofscape Design Awards will be announced at the TRA AGM, Conference, and Dinner on Thursday 18 April 2024.
