Between Delamere Forest and Chester, a disused former cow shed with acres of charm was converted into a family home.
During the design an extension to the existing building allowed for extra light and space. The house included three bedrooms, a large combined kitchen and living space, home office and a generous storage and utility area for the owner’s active lifestyle.
Cheshire Roof Trusses supplied timber trussed rafters and more than 100 Easi-joist metal web floor joists. The truss designs allowed for maximum head height over two floors and for extra light into the centre of the build. The Easi-joists offered a versatile and economical load-bearing solution for the property.
